Brett LaShure is the Executive Director of South Bay Sober Living. Brett has over 15 years of both personal and professional experience working in the addiction treatment field. Brett is devoted to helping families and individuals overcome substance abuse and related issues. He is passionate about helping individuals discover internal strength and resilience during the recovery process. Brett believes that addicts deserve a second chance at life. In his personal time he enjoys spending time with his wife and dog, traveling, surfing, dirt biking, and enjoying everything the South Bay has to offer.
Danny Hobin is a part of the management team at South Bay Sober Living. Having two years sober, Danny is well equipped with knowledge of the ins and outs of recovery. He has experience living in different types of sober living environments and knows what works, as well as what doesn’t work, in order to achieve long-term sobriety. Danny is very active in the recovery community in the South Bay and is dedicated to helping other struggling addicts overcome their obstacles and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. He is passionate about the process of recovery and is constantly seeking to learn and grow. Danny’s hobbies include fitness, reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Nolan Riddle is a part of the management team at South Bay Sober Living. Having nearly a year sober, he demonstrates the qualities of someone who is committed to recovery. Nolan entered South Bay Sober Living as a resident, committed to changing the direction of his life. Over time, he was able to successfully adopt the necessary skills to achieve success in recovery. Through his successes and personal experience as a resident of South Bay Sober Living, Nolan offers a unique perspective to those in the house and feels blessed to help others with similar struggles. He believes in a 12-step process, is passionate about his own sobriety, and considers it a gift to give back to those in the early stages of recovery. This makes him an invaluable asset to the team. In his spare time, Nolan enjoys making music, hiking, studying philosophy, and writing poetry.
Shane is the night manager at South Bay Sober Living. Shane has experienced both long-term sobriety and relapse over the past 15 years. His struggles in and out of sobriety provide him with the unique ability to relate to those in early recovery. Now in his early thirties with three years sober, Shane has dove back into South Bay recovery and is passionate about life. He is a full-time student and part-time house manager. Shane is committed to his sobriety and to improving his life. He believes in setting goals and always moving forward. Shane is passionate about sharing his experience with those in early recovery who are eager to change and grow. Aside from school and work, Shane spends his free time skating with his dog on the strand, surfing and spending time with friends and family.
Hillbilly is the South Bay Sober Living house dog. At 8 years old, Hillbilly himself has been thick and thin with his owner Shane, who brought him into the house.
